Hi, I’m Lucy & I’ve been horse-mad for as long as I can remember!
I did not grow up in a horsey family but I rode throughout my childhood on the South Downs & wherever & whenever I could!
I left school and went to train with horses, gaining my BHS Stage 1, 2, 3 – Groom’s Certificate & the Preliminary teaching Certificate.
Over the next 30 years, I competed in dressage & showing before discovering natural horsemanship - which completely changed my outlook & goals!
I now hack, have lessons, go on riding holidays & fun camps & have just started horse agility!
I am passionate about all things natural – our horses are barefoot, free to express themselves, are fed a forage-based diet & live without the confines of stables.
Horses & ponies who are laminitis-prone / have metabolic or health issues that benefit from freedom of movement & reduced grass-intake, are particularly welcome to join our herd.
